The Climbing Wall is designed as a dual climbing wall as it has foot and hand grips on both sides making it double-sided. The moulded, resin climbing grips are positioned in clear foot and hand zones to create a traverse climbing wall where the the intended fall height remains minimal. The wall is specifically not designed to be climbed up and over.

The climbing grips come in two colours and are positioned so that different colours create alternative routes of varying difficulty. Alternatively any of the grips can be used regardless of colour for the easiest way of traversing the climbing wall. Older children, such as those shown are also capable of traversing around either end of the climbing wall increasing its difficulty.

Applications in terms of team building are varied according to the age and ability of the children using the equipment. For example the double sided climbing wall could be used with a team to each side in a time trial. More advanced children can be attached in pairs by paper ropes or similar and have to try traverse the wall in pairs together. The emphasis here is on co-ordination both individually and as groups.
