The Board Bridge is designed to develop communication, co-ordination and balance amongst children. Two Boards are provided with hexi-grip surfaces and treated timber framing underneath.

These boards are intended to be used sequentially to span the four gaps to enable people and/or objects to be moved across the apparatus. For example, for older, more able children an item like a plastic cup of water which must not be spilt, yet collected and brought back across the equipment, is an excellent way of increasing the difficulty of team work. The Board Bridge, when expanded in this way, develops communication, co-ordination and team work for a range of different abilities.

The boards are also compatible with the Boardwalk piece of equipment, and therefore can be used to enable more children to use the Boardwalk at once, or decrease the difficulty of the equipment.
